Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee nor doth He hate thee, 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you as an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphans 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
