Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Have We not opened forth for thee thy breast? 1 And eased thee of the burden 2 which had been a heavy weight upon your back 3 And raised high for you your repute. 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Most certainly, there is ease with hardship. 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and be devoted to your Lord's service. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
