▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And indeed, We have put the big stars in the heaven and We beautified it for the beholders. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 except for those who stealthily try to listen to the heavens, but who are chased away by a bright flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then send down water from the cloud so We give it to you to drink of, nor is it you who store it up. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
