3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 And Pharaoh sent heralds unto all cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 and We delivered Moses and those with him all together; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Verily your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 68
