Didst thou (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 33 And gave a little and [then] refrained? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and of Abraham, who to his trust was true: 37 That no burdened person (with sins) shall bear the burden (sins) of another. 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 And that to your Lord is your returning; 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 and that it is He alone who deals death and grants life; 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 And that only upon Him is the next revival? 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 It was He who totally destroyed the former 'Ad 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So that there covered them that which did cover. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 While you are proudly sporting? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
