And for he who fears the standing (before) his Lord there are two Gardens. 46 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 47 Containing all kinds (of trees and delights);- 48 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 49 In [each of] these two [gardens] two springs will flow. 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand. 54 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 57 They are like rubies and coral-stone. 58 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 59 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness? 60 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 61 Besides this, there will be two other gardens. 62 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 63 Both [gardens] of the darkest green. 64 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 71 Companions restrained (as to their glances), in (goodly) pavilions;- 72 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 73 Undeflowered by man or by jinn before them, -- 74 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the Owner of Majesty and Honour. 78

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
