The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Wherefore admonish thou; admonition hath surely profited, 9 He will heed who feareth, 10 but the most wretched shall avoid it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 whereas the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
