So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 It is not the speech of a poet (little do you believe) 41 nor is it the speech of a soothsayer little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented sayings against Us, 44 We would have seized him by his right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 The Quran is certainly a reminder for the pious ones. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 Indeed, it is a sorrow to the unbelievers 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
