The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 in mind will keep it he who stands in awe [of God,] 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 in which he will neither die nor live therein. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And mentions the name of his Lord and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
