The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the morning brightness, 1 and by the night when it covers, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And indeed the Hereafter is better for you than the present (life of this world). 4 And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found thee wandering, so He guided thee, 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 and proclaim the bounty of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
