The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 by the dawnraiders, 3 raising a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
