The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the morning brightness 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 And soon will your Lord give you so that you shall be well pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 Did He not find you unaware of the Right Way, and then directed you to it? 7 And He found thee in need, and made thee independent. 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
