The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not - when that which is in the graves shall be ransacked? 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
