Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us). 52 And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 53 And mention Ismail in the Book; surely he was truthful in (his) promise, and he was an apostle, a prophet. 54 He exhorted his people to prayer and almsgiving, and his Lord was pleased with him. 55 And mention in the Book Idris; he was a true man, a Prophet. 56 And We raised him to a lofty station. 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ And after them came the unworthy successors who squandered prayer and pursued their own desires, so they will soon encounter the forest of Gai in hell. 59 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right. These will enter Paradise and will not be wronged the least 60 They will be admitted to the garden of Eden which is the unseen promise of the Beneficent God to His servants. The promise of God will certainly come true. 61 There they shall hear no idle talk, but only 'Peace.' There they shall have their provision at dawn and evening. 62 This is the Paradise those of Our creatures will inherit who take heed and fear the displeasure of God. 63 We come not down, save at the commandment of thy Lord. To Him belongs all that is before us, and all that is behind us, and all between that. 64 And thy Lord is never forgetful, Lord He of the heavens and earth and all that is between them. So serve Him, and be thou patient in His service; knowest thou any that can be named with His Name? 65
