Then whoso doeth some good works and is a believer, there will be no rejection of his effort. Lo! We record (it) for him. 94 And there is prohibition upon [the people of] a city which We have destroyed that they will [ever] return 95 until such a time as Gog and Magog are let loose [upon the world] and swarm down from every corner [of the earth,] 96 And there shall approach the true promise; and lo! the eyes of those who disbelieved shall be staring: woe unto us! surely we have been in neglect thereof; aye! we have been the wrong-doers. 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 If these had been gods, they would not have got there! but each one will abide therein. 99 They will groan in pain therein, but no one will listen to them. 100 But for those whom We had decided to favour with good reward, they shall be kept far removed from Hell. 101 Not the slightest sound will they hear of Hell: what their souls desired, in that will they dwell. 102 The greatest fear will not aggrieve them, and the angels will welcome them; saying “This is your day, which you were promised.” 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 We have written in the psalms which We had revealed after the Torah that the earth will be given to Our righteous servants as their inheritance. 105 herein, behold, there is a message for people who [truly] worship God. 106 And [thus, O Prophet,] We have sent thee as [an evidence of Our] grace towards all the worlds. 107 Say: 'It is revealed unto me only that your God is One God; do you then surrender?' 108 If they turn away, tell them: "I have warned you all alike. I do not know if what has been promised you is near or far away. 109 "Verily, He knows all that is said openly, just as He [alone] knows all that you would conceal. 110 And I do not know if this may be a trial for you and a provision till a time. 111 [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." 112
