Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 My Lord! then place me not with the unjust. 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel thou the evil with that which is the best, We are the Best Knower of that which they utter. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 and I seek refuge with Thee, O my Sustainer, lest they come near unto me!" 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 So when the Trumpet is blown – so there will neither be any relationship among them* that day, nor will they ask about one another. (The disbelievers) 101 And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell – then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 “Indeed this day I have rewarded them for their endurance, so that it is they who are the successful.” 111 And He will ask: 'How many years did you live on earth' 112 They will say: "We stayed for a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count of this." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 Exalted then be God, the King, the Real. There is no god but He, the Lord of the glorious throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
