۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 And most surely we are a vigilant multitude. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
