Do you think that it is harder to create you or the heavens? Allah has created it. 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after it spread out the earth. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains He has fixed firmly; 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 the Day when the human will remember what he has worked for, 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 Then surely the hell, that is the abode. 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 (Muhammad), they ask you, "When will the Hour of Doom come?" 42 In what [position] are you that you should mention it? 43 Your Lord alone knows when it will come; 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
