The people of Lut denied the Noble Messengers. 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 I am a trustworthy messenger to you: 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 164 "Of all the creatures in the world, will ye approach males, 165 leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors. 166 They said: "O Lot! If you do not desist, you will be one of those expelled (from our towns)." 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 My Lord! deliver me and my followers from what they do. 169 So We saved him and all his people, 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 Then afterward We destroyed the others. 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
