(O Prophet), did you see him who turned away (from the Path of Allah), 33 Gives a little, then hardens (his heart)? 34 Does he [claim to] have knowledge of something that is beyond the reach of human perception, so that he can see [it clearly]? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 and that [the fruit of] his striving shall soon be seen; 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that He it is Who makes (men) laugh and makes (them) weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 and that He Himself created the two kinds, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 None except Allah can avert it. 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And laugh and not weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
