And the Satan will say when the affair hath been decreed: verily Allah promised you a promise of truth; and I promised you, then I failed; and I had over you no authority, save that I called you and ye answered me; wherefore reproach me not but reproach yourselves. I am not going to succour you nor are ye going to succour me: verily I disbelieve in your having associated me afore. Verily the wrong-doers! for them is a torment afflictive. 22 Those who believed and did the right, will be admitted to gardens with rivers flowing by, where they will abide by the leave of their Lord, with 'Peace' as their salutation. 23 Have you not seen how Allah sets forth a parable that a good deed is like a good tree, its roots are firm and its branches are in the heaven, 24 By the leave of its Lord its fruit in all seasons, God presents words of wisdom to men that they might reflect. 25 The likeness of a corrupt word is like a corrupt tree uprooted from the earth having no stability. 26 Allah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world (i.e. they will keep on worshipping Allah Alone and none else), and in the Hereafter. And Allah will cause to go astray those who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.), and Allah does what He wills. 27
