He said: my Lord! expand for me my breast. 25 and make my task easy for me, 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 and appoint for me a helper from among my family, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 That we may exalt You much 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said: Thou art granted thy request, O Moses. 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will, 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go with My signs, you and your brother, and do not be lax in remembering Me. 42 Go, both of you, unto Pharaoh. Lo! he hath transgressed (the bounds). 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 "So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement awaits those who called the lie to the truth and turned away from it.' " 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 'Our Lord' he replied, 'is He Who gave everything its creation and then guided it' 50 He said: then what happened to the former generations? 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Consume them as food or for grazing your cattle. In this there is evidence (of the existence of God) for the people of reason". 54
