In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created (all that exists), 1 Has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood). 2 Read and your Lord is Most Honorable, 3 who taught by the pen, 4 The One Who taught man all what he did not know. 5 No indeed; surely Man waxes insolent, 6 for he thinks himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely unto thy Lord is the Returning. 8 Bethinkest thou him who forbiddeth, 9 a servant [of God] from praying? 10 Hast thou considered whether he is on the right way, 11 or enjoins true piety? 12 Hast thou considered whether he may [not] be giving the lie to the truth and turning his back [upon it]? 13 Did he not realise that Allah is watching? 14 Yes certainly, if he does not desist, We will seize him by the forelock. 15 The lying, sinful forelock - 16 Then, let him call upon his council (of helpers), 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 No! Do not obey him. But prostrate and draw near [to Allah]. ۩ 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
