Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
