Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

We sent Noah to his people. He told them, "Worship God for He is your only Lord. I am afraid of the punishment that you might suffer on the great Day (of Judgment)". 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 He said: 'O my people! There is no error in me, but I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 61 (sent) to convey to you the messages of my Lord and to advise you, for I know from Allah what you do not know. 62 Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you and that you may fear Allah so you might receive mercy." 63 But they called him a liar, so We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who rejected Our communications; surely they were a blind people. 64
