And they ask thee regarding the mountains; so say thou: my Lord will scatter them with a total scattering. 105 And leave it as an empty plain, 106 Wherein thou seest neither curve nor ruggedness. 107 On that Day, they will follow the Summoner, who is not crooked, their voices hushed before the Merciful, and you shall hear nothing except a murmuring. 108 Upon that day the intercession will not profit, save for him to whom the All-merciful gives leave, and whose speech He approves. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge, 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 And whosoever worketh of the righteous works, and is a believer, he will not fear wrong or begrudging 112 Even so We have sent it down as an Arabic Koran, and We have turned about in it something of threats, that haply they may be godfearing, or it may arouse in them remembrance. 113 [Know,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth and [knowing this,] do not approach the Qur'an in haste, ere it has been revealed unto thee in full, but [always] say: "O my Sustainer, cause me to grow in knowledge! 114 And verily We made a covenant of old with Adam, but he forgot, and We found no constancy in him. 115
