I shall receive my reward from the Lord of the Universe. 127 "Do you build useless monuments on every mountain 128 Erect palaces (thinking) that you will live for ever, 129 And when you lay hands (on men) you lay hands (like) tyrants; 130 So fear Allah and obey me. 131 "And keep your duty to Him, fear Him Who has aided you with all (good things) that you know. 132 “He aided you with cattle and sons.” 133 "And gardens and springs. 134 Verily I fear for you the torment of a Mighty Day. 135 They said: "It is the same to us if you warn us or do not warn. 136 this is nothing but the habit of the ancients, 137 "And we are not going to be punished." 138 And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 139 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 140
