Therefore continue to give warning, for by the grace of your Lord, you are not a soothsayer or a madman. 29 Or do they say: A poet, we wait for him the evil accidents of time. 30 Tell them: "Keep on expecting, I am expecting with you." 31 Do their minds prompt them to say such things, or are they a people immersed in transgression?” 32 What! They say, “He has invented the Qur'an”? Rather they do not have faith. 33 Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created out of nothing? Or are they the creators? 35 Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith. 36 Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? 37 Or do they have any stairs, climbing upon which they eavesdrop? So their eavesdropper should bring some clear proof! 38 Or hath He daughters whereas ye have sons? 39 Or is it that you (O Muhammad SAW) ask a wage from them (for your preaching of Islamic Monotheism) so that they are burdened with a load of debt? 40 Or is the Unseen in their keeping, and so they are writing it down? 41 Or do they intend a plan? But those who disbelieve - they are the object of a plan. 42 Or have they any god beside Allah? Glorified be Allah from all that they ascribe as partner (unto Him)! 43 And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." 44 Then leave them, till they encounter their day wherein they shall be thunderstruck, 45 The Day when their plotting will avail them nothing and no help shall be given them. 46 And surely those who are unjust shall have a punishment besides that (in the world), but most of them do not know. 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 and exalt Him in the night and at the declining of the stars. 49
