Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and numbered them precisely, 94 And everyone of them will come to Him alone on the Day of Resurrection (without any helper, or protector or defender). 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 Therefore, We have revealed the Qur'an in your tongue and made it easy to understand that you may give glad tidings to the God-fearing and warn a contentious people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
