The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 (O Muhammad), you will perhaps grieve yourself to death because these people do not believe. 3 If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Do they not observe the earth, how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein? 7 Verily there are signs in this; yet many of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
