And the Horn will be blown; and at once from the graves to their Lord they will hasten. 51 (nervously) exclaiming. “Alas for us! Who roused us out of our sleeping-place?” “This is what the Merciful One had promised, and what (His) Messengers had said was true.” 52 There would be naught but a single cry, when lo! they shall all be brought before Us; 53 "Today, then, no human being shall be wronged in the least, nor shalt you be requited for aught but what you were doing [on earth]. 54 Surely the inmates of Paradise will be engaged in pastimes. 55 in happiness will they and their spouses on couches recline; 56 therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire. 57 The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace! 58 (And He will say): 'Distance yourselves, O sinners, this Day. 59 ۞ Did I not charge you, O children of Adam! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy, 60 and that you should serve Me? This is a straight path. 61 Yet he has led many a host of you astray, did you not understand? 62 Yonder is Hell, which ye were promised. 63 Burn therein this Day, for that you used to disbelieve. 64 Today We shall put a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us and their feet shall bear witness to what they had been doing. 65 If it had been Our will, We could have put out their eyes. They would have struggled to find the way, but how could they have seen it? 66 Did We will, We would have changed them where they were, then they could not go on, nor could they return. 67

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
