And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 And We helped them, so that they were the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night.
