On the Day that the enemies of God shall be gathered together and driven to the Fire, they shall be formed into groups, and 19 till, when they come close to it, their hearing and their sight and their [very] skins will bear witness against them, speaking of what they were doing [on earth]. 20 And they will ask their skins, "Why did you bear witness against us?" and their skins will reply, "God, who gives speech to all things, has given speech to us [as well], it was He who created you in the first instance and to Him you are [now] brought back, 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 And that thought of yours which you thought about your Lord, has brought you to destruction, and you have become (this Day) of those utterly lost! 23 Then if they are patient, even then the fire is their home; and if they plead, none will listen to their pleading. 24 ۞ We assigned for them companions who would make their past and present (deeds) seem attractive to them. Thus, they became subject to what the jinn and human beings before were destined to suffer. They were certainly lost. 25
