Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And the clouds bearing a load. 2 And those that flow with ease and gentleness; 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 and the recompense shall surely happen. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 You are indeed in different opinions regarding this Qur’an. 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Who are under a cover of heedlessness (think not about the gravity of the Hereafter), 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (i.e. burnt) over the Fire! 13 And it will be said to them, “Taste your own roasting; this is what you were impatient for.” 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and the beggar and the outcast had a share in their wealth. 19 And on the earth are signs for those who have Faith with certainty, 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 And in the heaven is your provision, and that which you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
