Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those that strike violently, 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when stars are effaced. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgment. We will bring you together with all the ancient peoples. 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
