The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its violent shaking, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens. 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
