As for the God-fearing, they shall be amid gardens and springs. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 Toil shall not afflict them in it, nor shall they be ever ejected from it. 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My doom is the dolorous doom. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they entered his presence and said, "Peace!" He said, "We feel afraid of you!" 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They said: We give you good news with truth, therefore be not of the despairing. 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All - 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
