Do you not see that We have set the devils against the infidels to rouse and instigate them? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye utter a disastrous thing 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 Due to their ascribing of an offspring to the Most Gracious. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
