Al-Taareq

The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the Sky and the Night-Visitant (therein);- 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is that comes in the night? 2 It is the star that pierces through [life's] darkness: 3 For every soul there is a watcher. 4 So let man see from what he is created! 5 He is created of water pouring forth, 6 that issues from between the loins and the ribs. 7 Surely He is able to bring him back 8 On the day when hidden things shall be made manifest, 9 and he shall have no strength, no helper. 10 Consider the heavens, ever-revolving, 11 And by oath of the earth which flourishes with it. 12 Verily, it is a discourse distinguishing. 13 it is no merriment. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 and I am devising guile. 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
