We were indeed gracious to Moses and Aaron, 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
