The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the sky containing great stars 1 And by oath of the Promised Day. 2 And by the witness and that whereunto he beareth testimony, 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 of fire fiercely burning [for all who have attained to faith]! 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 Against these they had no grudge except that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the Most Praiseworthy, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 the Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 He does what He intends (or wills). 16 Has it come to you the story of the hosts 17 Of the Fir'awn and the Thamud? 18 But those who disbelieve are engaged in denial. 19 And Allah encompasses them from behind! (i.e. all their deeds are within His Knowledge, and He will requite them for their deeds). 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
