The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WOE unto every slanderer, fault-finder! 1 Who pileth up wealth and layeth it by, 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever! 3 No indeed; he shall be thrust into the Crusher; 4 and what shall teach thee what is the Crusher; 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which mounteth up to the hearts. 7 Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them 8 in columns outstretched. 9
God the Almighty always says the truth.
