Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 Will the human not remember that We created him before when he was not a thing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 Then We shall deliver those who have feared, and shall have the wrong-doers therein kneeling. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 and divest him of all that he is [now] speaking of: for [on Judgment Day] he will appear before Us in a lonely state. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
