The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
