The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 Who accumulated wealth and hoarded it, counting. 2 Does he think that his wealth will prolong his stay on earth forever? 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 What shall let you know what the Crusher is? 5 Fire of Allah, Kindled, 6 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men). 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In pillars stretched forth (i.e. they will be punished in the Fire with pillars, etc.). 9
