Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ha'. Mim. 1 'Ain-Sin-Qaf. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. 2 Thus has He revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and to those before you - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 3 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. He is the Most High and the Most Great. 4 The heavens nearly split apart from above – and the angels say the Purity of their Lord while praising Him, and seek forgiveness for those on earth; pay heed! Indeed Allah only is the Oft Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 5 And (as for) those who take guardians besides Him, Allah watches over them, and you have not charge over them. 6 Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an: that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt: (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire. 7 If God had pleased He would have made them one community of belief; but He admits whom He please to His grace; yet the sinners have neither friend nor helper. 8 Or have they taken protectors [or allies] besides him? But Allah - He is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He is over all things competent. 9
