(Muhammad), say, "I worship only my Lord and do not consider anyone equal to Him". 20 Say, "I do not possess any power to harm or benefit you". 21 Say, "Indeed, there will never protect me from Allah anyone [if I should disobey], nor will I find in other than Him a refuge. 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 Until when they see what they are threatened with, then shall they know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in number. 24 Say, "I do not know whether what you are promised is imminent, or whether my Lord has set for it a far-off day. 25 He [alone] knows that which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, and to none does He disclose aught of the mysteries of His Own unfathomable knowledge, 26 He causes angelic guards to march before and after him. 27 (Messenger) so that He would know that the Messengers have conveyed the message of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps a precise account of all things". 28
