We gave the Book to Moses - do not have any doubt about the Day of Judgment - and made it a guide for the children of Israel. 23 and [as] We raised among them leaders who, so long as they bore themselves with patience and had sure faith in Our messages, guided [their people] in accordance with Our behest [so, too, shall it be with the divine writ revealed unto thee, O Muhammad.] 24 On the Day of Resurrection your Lord will distinguish between them that on which they varied. 25 Hath this not guided them: how many generations We have destroyed before them amidst whose dwellings they walk? Verily therein are signs; will they not therefore hearken? 26 Have they not seen that We drive the water [in clouds] to barren land and bring forth thereby crops from which their livestock eat and [they] themselves? Then do they not see? 27 And they say: When will this judgment take place, If you are truthful? 28 Say: "On the Day of Decision, no profit will it be to Unbelievers if they (then) believe! nor will they be granted a respite." 29 Therefore turn away from them and wait as they are waiting. 30
