Remember also Our servant Job; when he called to his Lord, 'Behold, Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement.' 41 Urge with your foot; here is a cool washing-place and a drink. 42 And We gave him his family and the like of them with them, as a mercy from Us, and as a reminder to those possessed of understanding. 43 And We said, “Take a broom in your hand and strike her with it, and do not break your vow”; We indeed found him patiently enduring; what an excellent bondman! He is indeed most inclined. 44 AND CALL to mind Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, [all of them] endowed with inner strength and vision: 45 Indeed, We chose them for an exclusive quality: remembrance of the home [of the Hereafter]. 46 And verily they are with us of the elect of the excellent ones. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 Such is their noble story. The pious ones will certainly have the best place to return. 49 #NAME? 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ With companions of modest look, the same in age, by their side. 52 This is what you are promised for the day of reckoning. 53 this is Our unending provision' 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 Gehenna, wherein they are roasted - an evil cradling! 56 This - let them taste it: scalding water and corruption. 57 and other sufferings of the kind. 58 [And they will say to one another: "Do you see] this crowd of people rushing headlong to join you?" "No welcome to them! Indeed, they are headed for the fire!" 59 [And] they [who had been seduced] will exclaim: "Nay, but it is you! No welcome to you! It is you who have prepared this for us: and how vile a state to abide in!" 60 They will say: 'Our Lord, give those who brought this upon us double the punishment of the Fire' 61 And they will say, "How is it that we do not see [here any of the] men whom we used to count among the wicked, 62 Have we taken them in mockery? Or, have our eyes swerved from them?' 63 Surely that is true the disputing of the inhabitants of the Fire 64
