Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say thou: verily I own not for you power of hurt nor of benefit 21 Say: "Verily, no one could ever protect me from God, nor could I ever find a place to hide from Him 22 (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time. 23 Until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 Say thou: I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord hath appointed for it a distant term. 25 The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any, 26 except the messenger whom He has chosen. He sends down guardians who walk before them and behind them, 27 [He (Allah) protects them (the Messengers)], till He sees that they (the Messengers) have conveyed the Messages of their Lord (Allah). And He (Allah) surrounds all that which is with them, and He (Allah) keeps count of all things (i.e. He knows the exact number of everything). 28
